Products, services description (detailed, indicating CN FEA code)Activated Carbon: Activated carbon is a highly porous carbon adsorbent, which is obtained from various carbonaceous materials of organic origin. According to the Institute for Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, peaty active coals were tested for the purification of sugar syrup, medicines at the Minsk Endocrine Plant, at the Kaunas Plant of Medications, at the Polotsk Water Treatment Plant and showed results at a level of 15-30% higher than coals based on the BAU birch (granulated) and OS (powdery). In the initial period on the territory of Belarus, it is necessary to focus on the production of three types of coals: 1 - crushed type NORIT RK and NORIT RK 3-5; 2 - granulated on the basis of peat with a binder of the type AG-2, AG-3, AG-5; 3 - powder type NORIT PN 2. Sorption materials: In the complex approach, taking into account the requirements of high efficiency, low cost and environmental friendliness in the creation of oil-absorbing materials, experts of Finland, Canada, the USA and Russia give priority to natural material - peat. The sorption material of the Belarusian production proposed for development within the framework of this project will not yield to foreign analogues in terms of performance characteristics, significantly benefiting in value terms. Analogues developed sorption materials with the properties of antiseptics for use in poultry farming in the world practice is not available. Humic preparations: The Institute for Nature Management of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus has developed the methods and technologies of a whole series of humic preparations of a new generation for plant growing. Their essential difference from previously known analogs is the absence of a solid residue. The proposed humic preparation (Hydro-humate) is a product of deep processing of peat, allowing 2-3 times to increase the yield of active substances, enrich them additionally with such biologically active compounds as amino acids, carboxylic acids, humic substances, etc. Hydrohumate has proved itself in various climatic conditions on cereals, vegetables, flowers and ornamental crops, potatoes, root crops, rice, cotton, etc. Its use in small doses during the processing of seeds (0.2-0.3 kg / t) and vegetative p Complex granular organomineral fertilizers (KGU): These raw materials consist of natural organic products - peat or sapropel with additives of standard mineral fertilizers. The composition of the KSU includes from 30 to 50% of the dry matter of peat (sapropel) and up to 50-70% of mineral fats. KGU are intended for row crops, cereals, vegetables and fruit crops, herbs, berry and flower. Advantages of KGU in comparison with analogues: - balanced composition; - the presence of humic substances and natural stimulators of plant growth and development; - ensure the filling of the soil with both mineral nutrients and organic compounds; - ecological compatibility; - provide increased quality of crop production; - exclude contamination of soil and groundwater by chemicals; - do not cake when stored, do not dust when applied to the soil; - do not contribute to the accumulation of nitrate nitrogen in crop production; - show a 1.5-2.0 times less corrosive effect on metals compared with mineral fats. Since plants fully and gradually absorb the entire complex of NPK contained in organomineral fertilizer, the rate of their application can significantly decrease in comparison with conventional mineral fertilizers. When applying KGU, soil salinization does not occur, which is often observed when high doses of mineral fertilizers are applied.

Project periodIn 2015, LTD IPM-Consult Invest by request of SSE "Institute for Nature Management of NAS of Belarus" developed a business plan for a project to create an integrated plant for deep processing of peat. The same company in 2015 was carried out market rese
Project descriptionThe project involves the creation of an integrated enterprise for deep peat chemical processing with the production of activated carbon (1,000 tons / year, integrated granular organic fertilizers (50,000 t / year); peat products for agricultural purposes - agglomerated peat, adsorbents, meliorants, also for desert greening, biologically active substances of humic nature (25,000 t / year). Technologies developed in the Institute for Nature Management allow to receive abovementioned types of products, which are 10-12 times more economically efficient than the current traditional use of peat (mainly fuel). Studied peat reserves of Turshovka in Minsk region will be able to provide raw materials for 50-100 years. It is assumed that the created enterprise will be registered in the village Uhvala in Krupki district. Such companies apply the tax regime in accordance to the Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus on May 7, 2012, number 6 "On stimulation of entrepreneurial activity in the medium, small towns, rural areas". According to the decree, for seven years, commercial organizations have a number of tax incentives, advantages in the organization of construction, contracting, etc.

Potential customerRussia produces about 8 th. t. per year, with capacity of about 10-15 th. t / year. Import into the country is about 13 th. t / year (wood, coal and coconut imported coal). Kazakhstan buys 3 th. t / year, Ukraine -. 1.8 th. t / year, Poland -. 1.1 t / year, Lithuania and Latvia less than 1 th. t / year each. World consumption of activated carbon is about 1.8 mln. t / year, with the prospect of growth of up to 2.3 mln. t / year by 2017. The world's largest exporter of activated carbon is China. Cabot Company (Norit) is the only producer of peat activated carbons. Total production of peat activated carbon manufactured by Cabot (Norit) is around 18 th. t / year. The current products (humic products) are competitive, given its low production cost due to cheaper local raw materials, the absence of the long-distance transport and small energy costs, reagents and materials. The cost of the proposed humic substances is less than 1 USD / kg, while the figure for Italian drug Umeks, less efficient than Gidrogumat, reaches USD 10-12 at considerably lower concentrations of active ingredients therein. The approximate need for KGU only for potatoes and vegetables on the soils of light granulometric composition and water protection facilities in Belarus and the volume of perspective sales is about 260-300 thousand tons / year.
Key benefits of the projectAvailability of research results on the project received by leading researchers of the Institute for Nature Management for a number of years; Availability of deeply explored reserves of raw materials for the production plant for 50-100 years; Presidential Decree of May 7, 2012, number 6 "On stimulation of entrepreneurial activity in the medium, small towns, rural areas".
