Project description

The project objective is to supply the Belarusian market with chips from raw potatoes of Belarusian origin in order to increase the market share of the company group “Onega” to 49 percent on Belarusian market in the category of "chips" (pellet chips and potato chips), and to export these products to Russia and other countries. The products of "Onega" ltd. is the multiple winner of the competitions such as "Product of the Year", "Brand of the Year", "Choice of the Year", confirming the title of the leader in the Belarusian snack market. "Onega" ltd. has 26 % share in the chips market, 18 % - in the peanut market, 20 % - in the fast food products market. The company group “Onega” does not have enough chips from raw potatoes so as to fill the snacks product line. Onega Plus LLC was established in September 2012 aimed at implementing this project.
